FAQ
Q: How do I get verified as a content creator?
A: Send us your content creator application by going to your user settings and then locating the 'verification' link.
Q: How do I sell my videos?
A: You must be a verified content creator or approved contributor. Once you are, that option, and other options will be available to you when you upload and edit your video details.
Q: What is "original content"?
A: It is content that you are the exclusive owner of. You are the one that filmed it, created it.
Q: What about content that has not been uploaded to the site yet?
A: You may qualify as an approved contributor but if it is not your own original content then you do not qualify as a content creator. If you want to be considered as a contributor then submit the verification application and state that it is not your own original content and you would like to be a contributor. Contributors can and do still make money.
Q: Why wasn't my creator application approved? Or why hasn't it been approved yet?
A: There could be several reasons. Most of the time you will receive a message from an admin stating why it was not approved, check your messages. If you have not received anything, feel free to message us. Most of the time the reason for denial is that it was determined that it was not your own original content/you did not state it was not your own original content. Or you forgot to include samples of your content. Sometimes we message to ask a follow up question or ask for something for clarification, if you do not respond that may be why you are waiting also.
Q: Why have I not been approved when other people upload content that is not theirs?
A: They are either an approved contributor or not an approved anything. You are more than welcome to upload content as you wish without being an approved content creator.
Q: What does "Full Collection" mean?
A: This is for original creators or otherwise retired creators that no longer make new original content but are 100% verified, and/or for creators that want to upload everything they have in bulk and sell their collections as a whole set.
Q: I am already an approved creator, how do I sell my video and make it download only?
A: Go to edit your video settings on the video you want to make purchasable or download only. Make sure the "PRIVACY" setting is set to 'Members Only' and "DOWNLOAD ONLY" is set to 'Yes'. In the "PRICE" field, set the dollar amount you want to sell it for.
Q: Are there any benefits to setting videos to free, or free to members only?
A: Yes. Not only is it a requirement (see the creator requirements) because those videos are primarily what helps keep the site running as it helps encourage people signing up, but you can also set a "PRICE" without it being 'download only' and members do occasionally buy those videos to download. It also increased your visibility. If members are able to watch some of your videos and like them they are more likely to go to your profile to see what other videos you have including your download only videos which increased your chances of your videos being purchased. We are also giving incentives to some creators, we may occasionally add funds to your wallet as a thank you gift for your uploads.
Q: Can I make money even if I am not an approved creator or contributor by uploading videos?
A: Yes you can, just upload your videos and based on the quality prices may be set for you at our own discretion. Only highly quality, good videos.
Q: I uploaded videos, why were they not approved?
A: There could be several reasons, if you have a question about a specific video then feel free to message us and ask. The most common reasons for videos being denied is that they were determined not to be your own original content and for very obvious reasons, such as showing another sites watermarks on them.
Q: I uploaded videos, they were approved but they did not show up on the front home page, why?
A: There are several factors or reasons for this. If you want to know about a specific video please feel free to message us and ask. The most common reasons are usually quality or fairness. If the video is very bad quality we may decide not to show it on the home page the day it gets approved. Or if you are a creator and set a low quality video, or a short duration video for a an absurd price, we may choose not to show that video on the home page either as it usually annoys the paying members which then makes them send it complaints.
Q: I uploaded a video which was approved but is now showing for a different user, why?
A: If you upload content that is not yours there is a chance it may be assigned to a different user, almost always because it belongs to that user and not you. There may be other circumstances where it is just clearly obvious the content is not yours so it gets assigned to a category instead.
Q: Why was I muted?
A: Getting muted from chats can happen for several reasons but the first and most typical reason you may be muted is because other members have reported you/your chats with them. Admins cannot see your chats, this happens when you have been reported 3+ times by other users. Your mute will unlift on it's own eventually or you can message an admins and asked to be unmuted.
Q: Can I add watermarks to my videos?
A: Yes you can include your own watermark, if it's your own logo or text/username. However, other site watermarks or links are discouraged.
Q: Why are there so many 'D/O' (Download Only) videos, I paid for a membership and want to
A: The verified content creators and users that upload are solely responsible for setting their own privacy settings and prices. We have no control over that. We do implement some rules for our creators that there needs to be an even mix of members content and download only content but that is all we can do. If you are unhappy with the download only videos then we encourage you to message the creators and let them know. Simply do not buy the videos if you think it is unreasonable. They may change their minds if the videos do not sell and change them to members only. But we want to make it VERY clear, that creators set their own prices, we do not dictate that.
Q: I am unhappy with my membership and/or a video purchase, can I get a refund?
A: Unfortunately no. The moment you start watching videos we cannot give you a refund. Additionally we cannot provide refunds for purchased videos, unless in the event of a technical error. (Example: The video does not work, in which case we can and will give a refund). D/O videos have a privacy setting to where only the creator/uploader and the purchaser can see the video. We are not typically able to see the videos. Purchase with caution. But you are encouraged to report videos if needed so we can take the proper steps to remove videos that need to be.
